Summary

Will also ensure that the Plan is administered in compliance with IRS regulations, Plan benefits, SOX controls and auditing requirements. Skills/Technical Experience:

- B.A. or B.S. required, MBA preferred
- CPA certification required, other certifications (CISA, CFE, CIA, etc.) a plus.

- Experience within a Corporate Finance environment is a plus.
- For foreign offices, auditor experience preferred to include US GAAP clients and hold public accountancy certification.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, implementation and administration of backup environments running on Symantec NetBackup, EMC Networker and Backup Exec environments for multiple clients
* Demonstrate a high degree of creativity in performing tasks by identifying, proposing and implementing streamlining activities to reshape technology and processes
* Handle technical escalations from Level 1 and Level 2 teams
* Troubleshoot deep technical issues in backup environments running on the mentioned tools & technologies to resolution
* Evaluate and analyze the backup reports and backup performance
* Propose and implement backup improvement initiatives to enhance backup performance & backup success rates
* Handle the responsibilities of being a technical interface for specific clients
* Installation and configuration of new backup environments using the above mentioned tools
* Migration of backup systems from older to newer generation based systems
* Conduct periodic performance analysis and fine tune the overall backup performance
* Execute incident management, change management and problem management in line with ITIL standards
* Communicate project status, client updates etc.
* Provide weekly and monthly status reports on projects
* Track backup systems capacity and propose appropriate measures proactively
* Work with other cross-functional teams to provide seamless Service Delivery
* Communicate issues and solutions that may impact the team.

Technical and Behavioral Skills

* 8 to 10 years of overall experience in IT services and systems management including server management
* 4 to 5 years of experience in the administration of backup systems using EMC Networker, Symantec NetBackup and Backup Exec required
* Experience with EMC DPA (Data Protection Adviser) required
* Experience in StorageTek ACSLS administration
* Windows and UNIX server administration experience, particularly AIX, required
* Very good knowledge with ITIL processes (incident, problem and change management). Preferably ITIL Foundation Certified.
* Knowledge in using Service Management Tool like Remedy, Service Center etc.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Should have worked in a remote support environment
* Ability to clearly articulate situations / issues to cross-functional teams and clients
