Day to Day Work

Unisys is looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator with the following expertise and requirements:

Minimum of 10 years experience to include the development and design of database strategies; monitoring and improving database performance and capacity; data recovery, planning for future expansion and conversion; coordination and implementation of security measures to safeguard organizational databases; implementation and release of database changes as submitted by the development team and general administrator support.

Education/Certification:

Master's degree and 8 years of relevant/progressive experience

Balachor's degree and 10 years of relevant/progressive experience

No degree requires 14 years of relevant/progressive experience

4 years experience as a Database Administrator, monitoring, administering, and implementing performance tuning on database systems as well as experience in database performance optimization, developing/changing database indices, redesigning database structure and reloading data into a database

4 years of experience with logical design, requirements definition, and data administration

3 years in depth experience with implementing enterprise applications

3 years experience in relevant application database design, development, implementation, test, and documentation

Certified Oracle training shall include at a minimum: Database Administration class for the most current Oracle database version

Role Purpose:

Key Responsibilities/Outcomes:
- Responsible for implementing, maintaining and improving Service Desk Level-2 Solution/ service for their clients.
- Build and maintain excellent PMO / Client relationship.
- Monitor SLAs for the agreed targets.
- Periodic update to PMO / Management
- One on One with employees and managing their performance with feedback mechanism.
- Managing team performance as per account SLA/KPI commitment.
- Delivery to annual performance goals.

Key Qualifications:
- Excellent people management skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills with an ability to express complex thoughts/ ideas effectively in individual or group situations.
- Strong interpersonal, Relationship Management skills and team player.
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite and Understanding of statistical/analytical principles and processes

- Prior client facing experience
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework.
- Should be a graduate.
